So as I've been eating clean I've discovered a whole world of re-makes... (thanks Instagram!) Twists on traditionally delectable recipes making them cleaner...healthier for me. So I thought I'd try my hand at creating a cleaner version of the above mentioned meal. Here goes!
For the French Toast:
*2 slices bread of choice
(mine is "light" bread I got in the States (35 calories per slice~ How do they do it down there?!?!)
*egg whites
*cinnamon
Strawberry Filling:
*Sliced strawberries (frozen or fresh)
*Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops in Vanilla Crème to taste
Mixed together (microwaving if frozen)
Cream Cheese Filling:
*2 TBSP fat free cream cheese
*1-2 TBSP 0% fat plain greek yogurt
*1-2 TBSP fat free cool whip
*1 tsp vanilla
*1 tsp Lorann Cream Cheese Baking Emulsion (optional~adds cream cheese flavor)
*Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops in Vanilla Crème to taste
Mix all ingredients together.
Assemble sandwich & enjoy warmed or cold!
