So in total I'm down 12 lbs so far. I was down 12 lbs before, but gained a little & lost it again.
It's been tricky to stay motivated ... esp with visiting family & then Halloween ... my way of thinking most times when I lose weight is ..."Oh, I've lost "x" amount of weight already, I guess I can slack a little.
But the way I need to think is... Man...I've got a long way to go, I guess I'd better keep going.
And also, I've been eating things I shouldn't (because they taste so good!) & I haven't been tracking... & I haven't really been exercising... so... I need to get back on track. But I guess I haven't been too bad, since I lost 1.6 lbs each week for the past two weeks... Hopefully I can keep it up.

So I joined Weight Watchers. I'm so excited to see what happens. I'm at 256lbs right now & my goal is to lose at least 110lbs. That will bring me to the max of what Weight Watchers considers to be a healthy weight for my height.
These are the things I will be looking forward to:
*All the church clothes I have that I can't wear right now (I have like 3 or 4 things that I have to rotate)
*All the jeans I'll be able to wear (I have garbage bags full)
*Being able to walk from the basement to the 2nd floor without getting winded.
*Being able to eventually run & maybe even run a half marathon.
*Being able to feel good about having my picture taken again.
*Just being healthy all the time, without having to think about it.
I am looking forward to changing my lifestyle & the way I think about food.
So this is an online record of my weight loss journey, mostly for just me, but if you've been invited to read this, it's because I trust you as a good friend & want to share this experience with you.
I'll update on Thursday when I weigh in for the first time.
